Adventure Tours!
1. Day Tripper!
Spend the day with us! Relax as we drive you around some of the beautiful places in and around the Dargo area

$150.00 per person (Minimum 2 people)
2. Day Tripper Tag Along!
Bring your own 4wd and tag along with us! We can set the agenda or if you have a particular place of interest you would like to visit, let us know and we'll set the course to get you there!

3. Overnight Tag Along! (1 night)
Bring your own 4wd and camp under the stars with us! We can set the adventure or you can.

4. Wannagatta Wander! (2 Nights)
A 2 night adventure into the valley at the famous Wannagatta Station. Departing from the Dargo Hall, we will make our way into the heart of the High Country. The first night will be spent at the old Gold Rush Farm at Talbetville. After a night under the stars, and a fabulous campfire breakfast the tour heads to Wannagatta Station taking in some sensational sights along the way. The second night will take us futher into the valley at what was once the most isolated cattle station in Victoria! Its also the scene of what is still an unsolved murder to this day.
After another night camping under the stars, and breakfast around the campfire, we will make our way back through the valley to the Iconic town of Dargo

5. High Country Huts! (2 nights)
For those of you with an interest in the historical High Country Huts, this one for you!
We will make our way around a selection of the iconic huts that have stood the test of time through the harsh environment , bush fires that have raised this beautiful country and extreme winters.
Camping under the stars, gathering aroung the fire, good ol' fashioned Aussie tucker will round out a fabulous 4wd adventure you won't want to miss!

Bookings
All tours need to be paid in full 14days prior to your scheduled dates. If you are unable to attend, all paid monies will be transferred to an alternative tour of your preference.
Dargo Tours reserves the right to cancel or alter any tour. All monies will transferred to another planned tour of the participants's choice

What do you need to bring?
If you are travelling with us...
- You just need your personal belongings; clothing, toiletries, medicines etc'
If you are tagging along with us in your own vehicle you will need....
- A vehicle suitable for the conditions
- All terrain tyres
- Vehicle to have recovery points
- High and Low gearing
- Spare tyre
- UHF radio (preferred optioned, available for hire if required)
- recovery gear (preferred )
- All required personal items; toiletries, clothing, medicines etc.
- Any camping equipment you may require (we do have equipment available to hire if you need it)
- Food/Meals/Snacks dependant on how many days/nights you are with us (we will provide a camp oven roast for dinner)
We provide:
- Charging facilities for mobile phones/cameras etc.
- Cooking requirements in case of total fire ban
- First Aid Kits -Trained first aid guides on every tour
- Access to satelite phone for emergencies only
- Epirb location beacon
- UHF for hire if required
- Camping equipment for hire if required
What time of the year do we operate?
Due to Park closures we operate in the Victorian High Country between November thru to June, however talk to us about other locations during July thru to October!
What 4wd experience do you need?
You need to be competent in handling your own vehicle in off road situations. You will experience varying terrain that is rocky, up hill climbs and steep descents, along with water crossings. However we are always on hand to help you.
What's the weather like?
Due to the location of the High Country, the weather can rapidly change from one extreme to another. Cater for all seasons, similar to Melbourne!!
What is supplied on tour?
We can supply as much or as little as you need. Speak with us prior to booking about any requirements you may have
Will there be bathroom/toilet facilities?
All of our overnight locations have access to drop toilets. We do carry a portable camping shower to be used if needed. Most nights are spent at the side of a creek/river.
Is insurance provided?
No - All insurances are the responsibilities of the participants.
